Dunnottar Castle- Sunrise
Dunnottar Castle has for many years been on my bucket list of places to visit, me and my husband set off early in the morning in the dark, and sat on the hillside with a cup of tea listening to the waves crash below. As the sun rose everything was peaceful and calm and the beauty of the castle was silhouetted with the most breathtaking sky, it’s a moment that will stay with me forever and to me my “Beautiful Scotland”
Katy Read, age 15 – Taken with Panasonic Lumix G80
“Beautiful Scotland” makes me think of summer holidays in the Highlands and Islands, especially the Hebrides. The scenery and the wildlife are breathtaking. Lunga (off Mull) must be one of the best places to see puffins in the world! I wanted to take some unusual pictures, and this puffin posed nicely for me with the water and distant islands framing its head.
