Here at Gretna Gateway, the health and well-being of our customers and staff continues to be our top priority. We are continuing to follow Scottish government guidance, and work closely with all of our retailers to ensure that you can safely enjoy your experience with us.
To help you prepare for your visit at Gretna Gateway, we would like to keep you informed of any changes ahead of your visit. We continuously review our measures, which are in place for your safety, and ask that the guidance given by our staff and our retailers is followed respectfully.
Gretna Gateway currently falls into Level 2 of Scotland’s levelling system, and all of our stores remain open as usual.
We would advise customers to follow guidance set out in your post code area and respect the rules we have in place when planning your visit to us.
Follow Scotland’s guidance,
- Face coverings should be worn in all indoor areas by anyone over the age of 5 years old, unless medically exempt
- We continue to follow the 2m rule for social distancing, except for our restaurants, which will operate at 1.5m+
- If you are dining with any of our food and beverage operators, they will require you to use their QR codes for track and trace purposes, please be prepared with a mobile device to avoid any disappointment. This only applies if you choose to sit in.
Arriving at Gretna Gateway
To ensure social distancing can be followed, there will be a restricted number of customers allowed on the mall at one time, and queueing systems will be in place.
Due to the flow of customers around M&S and Costa, our North gate remains exit only. To enter the mall, please head to our Central (by Polo Ralph Lauren) or South mall (by Pizza Express) gates. You may exit via any gate.
All our gates are manned by our Guest Services team, who will be there to inform and assist you should you need it. We ask that their instructions are followed respectfully.
Due to a vast increase in staycations and motorhomes arriving in our car park, we very kindly ask that all motorhomes are parked in either our North or South car parks, which are only a short walk opposite the Centre. We thank you for your cooperation on this. This does not apply to blue badge holders.
If you are disabled, require wheelchair hire or need any other assistance on arrival, you are permitted to enter through any gate, please speak to a member of our Guest Services team who will be happy to help.
Please note our wheelchairs are hired on a first come, first served basis, and will be disinfected after each use.
Whilst Shopping With Us
Face coverings are mandatory in all stores in Scotland for anyone over the age of 5, unless exempt.
Our public toilets are open, with social distancing measures in place and an increase in cleaning,
Smoking or vaping is no longer permitted within the mall gates and we thank you for your cooperation on this.
The playpark will remain closed until further notice.
The cleaning team will continue to disinfect touch point areas regularly, and hand sanitising stations are installed for you to use throughout the mall, as well as in stores.
We ask that anyone visiting with dogs to please keep them on a short lead.
Our stores will be operating in line with company policies, every store will have a queuing system for your safety, which we ask all customers to be mindful of. Some larger stores are operating one-way systems.
We ask that all procedures put in place by our retailers and teams in order to allow you to shop safely are followed respectfully.
